Oh, this in existed.

This guy existed.

He wrote this book.

And here's what we do know, and it actually intersects with the movie I made, is uh when you read the words of his first inaugural address,

And I actually thought John Adams got this right, the series.

Washington has uh plural C when he was younger and it kinda takes his voice, so he he kinda has what would be like a breathy, deep voice.

So um Washington did.

Washington.

So and he said it no matter, I would rather be known by my uh deeds than my words.

But he would have spoken softly.

And this is where David Morse in John Adams gets it absolutely right.

So on the announcement.

Inauguration, everybody was said to be leaning in because they couldn't hear him because he he spoke in this soft tone or this kind of deep tone.

Quiet tone.

He had such a resounding presence, but he John Adams was like the voice, you know, or Patrick Henry.

George Washington was a guy that walked in the room and changed the room and uh but quietly and he architected himself and his ethos and his look.

And I thought the movie, uh Spielberg's movie, got that right.

And uh so I think the reason there's some controversy around this is because no one could hear him.
