No, like you try to start and you try to, you want to do this.
I became better in, in Chicago.
I mean, in Atlanta, back in a Brian McCann and realized like,
man, I'm just going to, I love the support staff role.
And like, I want to play a lot, but like, I couldn't handle a lot of the mental side.
Like I let 0 for 12s turn into 0 for 24s, you know what I mean?
And trying to hit four home runs and at bat.
So I'm very thankful for the teams I've been on, the teammates, the people that affected me, made me
a better person and teammate that affected me in winning teams, you know?
And so getting to Boston and taking that to Chicago and doing that with John and how he treated me and all my, the things I've learned about what a big leaguer is, I get to manage with no experience.
Like there's a, there's a lot of great shit that baseball has given me.
And it's all because of my teammates and things I've learned of just paying attention to, wow, this guy makes me feel this way.
You should treat people this way, stuff like that.
And
Trying to grind on the day I played.
I think the blessing looking back on being able to do that is because I had a bunch of different roles.
I started for like a year and a half.
I've been the backup.
I know how hard it is to pinch hit.
