You just celebrated a 20-year a few years ago. Bro, don't make me so old. Yeah, yeah. The originator of the ABC collection of rings. I look a lot better in that team deal because I'm the young guy in that team deal. This one, I'm going to be the gray-haired old guy in the back.
But that's what I say about you, y'all. You started the alphabet of rings, Anaheim, Boston, and Chicago, the ABCs. It's freaking impressive when you look back. We were on the same flight our rookie year. You had won the World Series pitching game seven, and I was coming from the Dodgers. We went to a union meeting up in Pebble Beach.
Yeah, Pebble Beach, yeah. Black was playing with dudes that were born playing – Before I was born, he was playing with guys. Playing in the 80s. For sure. Yeah, we had a couple dudes, yeah. I had some great group of vets, man. Took care of me. It was cool. You're young to me. You're forever young for me. Thank you. My guy.
That's actually something that I think, like, some of the themes for these things are, like, how people influence you, right? And, like, you came up in an old school group, you know, Percival. You had all these guys in Anaheim, like... What have you taken from your time winning three championships and three different real teams as the games evolved? Like, what did you learn early age from your veteran teammates?
The locker room matters, man. Like, chemistry in the locker room is a big deal. Like, you got to have, you know, the right kind of veterans in there.
