And their life would be so painful to me because I don't want that.
That's not who I am.
So what I really believe is you need to sit down, take your own pulse and say, what is the lifestyle that you want?
Do you want to grind 24 seven?
Okay, good for you.
Go do that.
Do you want to have a lifestyle business where you're working like me 20 hours at most a week?
Okay, let's try to create a business around that.
Now your revenue is probably going to reflect that.
Just like my revenue is not as high as it would be if I worked 80 hours a week, not even close.
But I'm willing to make that trade off because I've been happy with my business for 12 years.
If I had gone just for the grinding 80 hours, I probably would have made it two years, maybe three.
Who knows before I had a meltdown.
So that's what I really believe.
It's really hard for people to be authentic and genuine because once the lights go on, once the camera comes on, you kind of take this different persona.
I mean, not to get political, but you see politicians do it all the time.
It's just so obvious and icky and gross.
People want to be spoken to like you're sitting across the table from them at a coffee shop.
You are friends.
You're catching up.
