The reason I was telling this to the counselors is that at the bottom of the triangle at the base, we're all about the same.
But as we go up, we get kind of different.
We all go to our peaks.
And so I'm thinking, like, what is, like, the top of our triangle?
Like, who's kind of, like, leading us as evangelicals?
And it's the higher level theologians.
Like, there's not one guy up there who's, like...
whose every decision on god or theology and whose opinion like sways the masses but it's these like it's the people interpreting scripture and interpreting these hydrological concepts and going all the way back to the beginning it's thomas aquinas it's augustine it's it

In modern times, it's like Wayne Grudem or these guys writing like systematic theology textbooks.
Like the top of our triangle, the people that are kind of like leading our faith are the people writing books that no one's ever heard of that like the pastors and the speakers and the higher learning professors are reading and teaching and then teaching and reading us.
which is i think why like this is so important and kind of what dr was talking about and this is like why is high theology is important and for us to know because it's we think like the bible is the highest authority and it is but we're actually for the most people are actually practically living out the bible what we're learning from these other people who are writing books interpreting it
I think the teaching down or the learning down is to me is everyone on like TikTok or Instagram or social media who are like these guys who are like, oh, I'm going to be a teacher.
And they started like putting out these clips and they're actually not, they don't have the foundational knowledge.
They're not actually interpreting it themselves.
