But it's impossible to do completely.

But one of the things that I try to do as well is to bring other people onto the show that have different opinions and ways of doing things than me.

And, you know, have a friendly conversation with them about, okay, this is how you do it.

And this is the reason why you do that.

And, you know, you, the listener, maybe that's good for you.

Maybe it's not, but you know, you make that decision for yourself.

I mean, a lot.

It's changed so much from the 1940s when John Nosler had his famous incident where he shot that moose like eight times and half the bullets didn't penetrate and whatnot because they just weren't tough enough for the impact velocities.

The average thing that a person pulls off the shelf now, rifle, scope, ammo, is significantly better than what my grandfather and even my father had access to and even what I had access to as a kid in terms of just the quality.

There are some legitimate bad choices for different situations and whatnot still, but there's a lot fewer of them now than used to be the case.

Just bullet performance is a lot better in terms of the strength of the bullets and whatnot, how consistently they're made in terms of accuracy.

Almost everything, well, not almost everything, but there are a lot of options that have a higher ballistic coefficient that is better for performance in the wind, downrange, better terminal performance in general across a range of impact velocities and situations and whatnot.

And then, and that's not even to say getting into any of the stuff, say like with the new seven back country and six, five Creedmoor plus peak and whatnot.

I mean, that is just even a couple of steps above what we had a couple of years ago.

Yeah.

I mean, the 7-Bat Country is just over a year old.

Early 2025 is when Federal announced that cartridge.

And then the new 6.5 Creedmoor Plus Peak is maybe a month old as we're recording this.

It's brand, brand new.
