Otherwise if these ten out D D excuse me, if these ten hunters wanted to book a hunting trip with me as an outfitter, I would flat turn them down.
So I'm gonna make my way through the list and let you guys know which ones I as an outfitter would turn down.
Now, I'm gonna say this.
When I started my business and got Kings of Safaris up and running off the ground, make no mistake about it.
If you had a heartbeat and wanted to go hunting, I would have booked you.
If you said to me you wanted to go hunting mushrooms, I would have taken you hunting mushrooms.
It it doesn't matter.
But as time went on and I had a bit more of a reputation, got a good client basis and went further and further on.
Um, I'm not gonna say I definitely got picky with clients.
I certainly was never that arrogant or naive to feel like I could just pick and choose clients.
That certainly wasn't the case.
But I I started to learn about the concessions that I hunted on.
I started to learn about my strengths and my weaknesses of my business, what I could do, what I couldn't do.
Um things that I personally as a Ph as an outfitter, as a
Hunter um as somebody that was sociable and liked meeting people from overseas, what I enjoyed doing and what I didn't enjoy doing.
As a business owner, I realized what would be more profitable for me, what would kind of break even for me, and the types of hunts or the hunters that I booked that would just make a loss for me.
So this list is a little bit of a mix of each one of those.
And definitely towards the end, before we moved over here to Texas, I definitely started
Sifting through some of these hunters that sent me email inquiries, wanting to book, whatnot, uh, and realizing that we just weren't the right fit.
