Uh and this is why uh we had moved so many of our military assets to Jordan and even to Israel and even back to Europe.
It's also why the US Navy could not depend uh on getting supplies from the naval base at Bahrain and instead had to rely on getting supplies uh from Diego Garcia, which is thousands of miles away.
This is what was causing all those problems with the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier that was dis
that was deployed uh in the region.
Uh so we knew uh that uh serious damage had been done to virtually all the bases.
But what's now beginning to happen is we're getting pictures, we're getting uh
people who were present talking about the extent of the damage.
And it really just drives home.
uh those earlier
uh descriptions of what had happened.
It it just drives home how effective the Iranians have been with their cruise missiles, ballistic missiles.
uh and drones at wrecking uh US military infrastructure in the region.
It's really quite remarkable.
And actually seeing it, seeing pictures uh makes uh it clearer
um uh clearer than ever uh at how effective the Iranians have been.
And by the way, all this just points out that the coming of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones has in a fundamental way
