So i it's hard to figure out from reading the mainstream newspapers
where this is headed economically or what the different possible outcomes are.
So I find it hard to say, given that I'm not an economist, exactly where
uh this uh conflict might lead if we don't shut it down in the next few weeks.

But you want to remember that the Great Depression lasted from roughly nineteen twenty nine up until the end of World War Two or the beginning of World War Two.
That was well over ten years.
Uh so і if we have a major economic catastrophe here.
I'm not saying we will, I don't know for sure, but the potential for significant damage on the international economy is ever present.
Almost everybody agrees on that.
They don't tell you what the specifics might be, but it could be disastrous.
It could last for a decade.
It could take us a long time to recover.
You and I both remember what happened in nineteen seventy three with the OPEC oil embargo.
