Then the question is, what do they do?
Yeah, that is the question.
Well, putting aside tactical nuclear weapons, they have no military option.
They've tried the military option.
They tried a strategic bombing campaign for the first 40 days of the war.
Then they engaged in this tit-for-tat strategy where both sides went back and forth over the course of July of this year.
That didn't work.
The blockade didn't work.
There's just no military option here.
Tactical nuclear weapons, I don't think that's a viable option.
Everything you can tell from the media says that virtually every one of Trump's advisors tells him this is a cockamamie idea.
Trump finds himself, according to press reports, reaching for that option on occasion.
Which is unsurprising, because again, he's flailing around, but his advisors tell him that wouldn't work.
I mean, we could go down that road and talk about why it won't work.
But I think, you know, he really will be faced with two choices.
One is signing...
Something like the Memorandum of Understanding, although the Iranians will drive a much harder bargain this time than they did in the 17 June memorandum.
So, you know, he can basically capitulate.
