And all of this just tells you that we don't have a military option against the Houthis.

And as I said before, we don't have a military option against the Iranians.

There is simply no

viable military option that the United States has up its sleeve that it can use to shut down either one of these wars and get a favorable outcome.

And of course that's why we're relying on the blockade and this strategy that Secretary of Treasury Bessant came up with on August twenty fourth to strangle Iran.

uh the blockade and the besin strategy are the best we can do.

And the question you have to ask yourself is do you think we can strangle

uh the Iranian economy to the point where you get regime change and the new regime.

uh dances to our tune.

I think that's extremely unlikely.

This is the blockade on Iran, the second blockade on July Fourtent.

Uh and that blockade we was working in the sense that it was causing significant pain.

uh for the Iranians, but there was no evidence whatsoever that the pain was so great that

Iran was on the verge of surrendering.

So what happens is that on august twenty fourth,

Besson announces this new strategy which is designed to strangle Iran economically, to go beyond the blockade.
