All the guys I listed, Ryan Day, they fucking like to recruit.
They like all that.
Lane, it's a huge part of what makes them that.
And I think these commissioners come in like they don't give a shit about football.
They are just doing anything humanly possible to make the most money possible, which honestly is their job title.
That's their gig as the commissioner.
But I think often their sights don't align with the coaches.
Because I saw all these Big Ten guys going, yeah, 24 teams.
Do I truly believe I sat down with Kurt Cignetti and Ryan Day?
They think 24 teams should be in the playoffs.
They think Minnesota should have a fighting chance.
What are we talking about?
And so it was going to be interesting to see if the SEC had some meetings this week.
What was going to come out of there?
And Sankey said today, yeah, we think 16 teams is the number.
Now, me personally, I'm fine with 12.
And the way it's set up with some of these non-Power 4 teams, you can argue 12 is too much.
I'd be good with 8.
But if it's inevitable, I'll get behind it.
I do think that 24 teams is absurd.
