No, I think the discussion we're having is great in one level.
I think John in particular is doing trojan work in Limerick with, I suppose, a hand plug behind his back, fundamentally doing a great job in Limerick, I have to say, in the context he's in.
The reality, though, it's the wrong discussion.
You know, comparing Irish cities to each other is equivalent to, frankly, moving deck chairs in the Titanic.
The real standards we need to be aspiring to are around Europe,
and around the Western world.
And we're not in the top index of any index, I would suggest, having lived in other cities and travelled.
Because our cities are not designed as cities.
We have an aversion to high-rise, which is fundamental, in my opinion, to good design in a modern, growing city.
We're trying to have our Kilkenny and Kinsale lifestyle in the centre of Dublin.
Everybody objects to everything over eight storeys and all the rest of it.
And that means you can't get the population to where it needs to be and the density it needs to be.
You can't get the services.
We don't have the transport.
And then you kind of look at what's important to people living in the city.
It's those public services.
It's coming to work, coming from work, having transport, having an affordable small place to live when you're starting out.
and being able to retain and develop our young people.
