Well, back then, you kind of just got on with it and prepared for the next night.
Prepared for the next night of horror, the next night of terror.
That's one of the things that really came through to me when I was reading the accounts, Dan, when I was talking to people.
It was relentless.
It didn't stop.
It went on and on and on.
And it wasn't just 1940, 1941, depending on where you were in the country, whether it was the baby blitz, whether it was the Baideka raids, whether it was the V1 attacks, whether it was the V2 attacks.
It went on and on and on.
Again, Doc's industrial heartland.
So Liverpool was hit on many occasions.
