Of course, it varies from referee to referee and there are peccadillos and everybody does their homework and says, this guy's hot and this, this, this, this, and this.
So yeah, you do all that research.
But why is part of a coaching week for players and coaches about the person that's going to implement the same laws on a weekly basis?
Why does it need to change massively?
So that's part of it.
Again, if you simplify the laws of the game, it makes it easier to referee.
And don't get me wrong here.
This isn't bagging referees either.
It's a really tough game to referee.
But I do think now... And we're making it tougher.
Yeah, I think it's been made tougher.
And I also think that you have to change.
There has to be an emphasis on refereeing, just supporting the referees in what they see, encouraging them to take back control of the game.
What exactly are you saying we've fallen behind in, or Ireland have fallen behind in, I should say?
I would say the ability to play to space, the ability to find a way when... The ability to play to space...
is predicated on you, on the team wanting to do that and where you're looking to attack.
So I think that's a shift in emphasis.
I mean, passing a ball from A to B and the speed of passing a ball from A to B is the same for all teams.
It's how you transfer and where you want to go.
The emphasis is what you're looking at.
