Of course, every type of tourism has an impact.

You do hear a lot of stories about

people in positions of privilege who go and then are motivated to do good things for the environment.

So I think it's beneficial to witness places like this for yourself.

You're more motivated to want to protect them.

And typically the people on board are really considerate about the environment.

You know, that's why they're doing the trip in the first place.

Of course, there's lots of very depressing conversations with marine biologists on board telling us about climate change and the erosion they've seen on the icebergs that are passing us and so on.

So that kind of is a shadow over the experience as well, for sure.

I was just thinking for your 35-year-old who's single, he's just in the perfect position.

I won't delay at all.

I'm living in Dubai at the moment and I've had almost two months now of being incapable of leaving the place because of erratic flight patterns.

You just can't predict what the future has in store.

I'm thinking back to COVID as well.

So my advice would always be if you have any window that's available to you, don't count on doing it in the future.

Just make it happen here and now.

The memories are worth a lot more than a few extra months doing hard work to get to that point, aren't they?

It's really challenging for so many people working in hospitality here.

It's been difficult for the city, which is so dependent on international arrivals, to be hollowed out at the snap of a finger.

So I know lots of people have been made redundant and there's just huge hope that this peace process that they're talking about will actually hold.
