And they have perpetual daylight as well.

So, you know, you're just looking at iceberg sorting pass at three in the morning as if it was the middle of the day.

So it's really majestic and ephemeral.

It's magical.

So I am conscious of how annoying I sound when I tell people about some of the trips I've been on.

I've been to Antarctica twice and one time was on the cruise ship and the second time or rather the other time I kind of infiltrated a party of super yacht brokers and they took me on an expedition yacht with them, which was just 26 people on a retrofitted Russian icebreaker carving through the ice in the middle of nowhere.

Yeah, so I would say that Antarctica is absolutely the ultimate travel experience I've had.

If you're talking trips of a lifetime, it surpasses everything else I've ever done.

But you have to do a bit of penance first.

There's something called the Drake Passage, which you might have heard of.

If you're going down from Chile or Argentina, it's a 48-hour journey through some of the roughest, roughest, most disastrous waters on the planet.

I remember lying in bed

Looking at the horizon, it was like I was on a trampoline jumping up and down outside the window.

And that was two days straight of just being incapable of consuming a drop of water or moving sideways at all.

Some lady, she almost got catapulted out of her room.

Her head broke through one of the doors.

It's really quite severe.

But it's worth it.

It's dependence you have to go through to deserve what comes next.

They have very stringent procedures in place to ensure that they don't dump any waste or anything like that.
