But what's interesting about it, and I'll give an example here of what a number of people are doing in Australia, is

In traditional finance markets, private equity funds and startups and people in the VC community are wanting to raise capital by issuing a token and then taking that token to an exchange like a Coinbase Australia or to a decentralized exchange, which is just a decentralized wallet, a lot more of kind of informal environment with less KYC and less registration, and then raising money through a population by issuing that token.

People can trade those tokens very cheaply on the blockchain for under one cent.

So there's effectively zero transaction fees.

And they can trade atomically in real time.

Anytime over the weekend, you can send this asset to someone with a QR code.

And it's just fantastic.

What we've called internally at Coinbase, upgrading the system.

We want to kind of get out of the old system of traditional finance and ATMs and banks and checks and tellers and burdens and banks messing around with your offset account, for example, maybe abusing your personal finances and letting people take control of their finances and do that on a wallet, on a smartphone.

And so tokenization is a major push.

And another term that's given a lot of air time with that is RWA, real world asset tokenization.

We were just meeting with some Asian investors here who have a big platform for Chinese housing or Chinese owned assets for housing in Australia.

They want to get that information up to people in Asia in a very efficient way.

And they're doing that with a token on an app on the blockchain, which is the largest Ethereum blockchain or the most efficient Ethereum blockchain with the most users is called Base.

And that's also a technology backed by Coinbase.

And this tokenization is where we are going, presumably?

Certainly.
