Like two cards at two and three minutes in the game as two yellow cards.

Like you've given yourself an absolute mountain to climb.

And I think that they were unfortunate in a couple of cases with some of the officiating, but you've got to react to the referee.

That's you to be better.

And I think it was an important lesson and maybe a valuable lesson.

for Connacht that better decisions react to the referee they played some of their rugby which was good to see and they showed some character in that respect about bouncing back but yeah they found Montpellier's power game damaging and they found the breakdown you know difficult and Montpellier didn't let them play and once they were in catch-up mode and Gordon will know this a lot better once you're in catch-up mode in those circumstances it can be very difficult once you're in catch-up mode when your player is down

It's very, very difficult and you're trying to survive.

So it's that kind of mix of surviving, trying to survive and also then play a bit of catch up rugby.

And I think they fell into that kind of a bit of a vortex of trying to play, sometimes forcing play a little bit where they didn't have the scoreboard wasn't their friend.

And a lot of the time they got back to a point, but then they fell away again.

a little bit and then they went into catch-up mode again so I think that cycle in the match was difficult for them but they're still great to watch at times they play good rugby and that's part of the learning process where you go to you take part in a match like that you make mistakes you get punished very severely for them and once they learn from it great

Yeah, I think it's his choice.

I mean, it's honestly, I think people think that Connacht didn't offer him a contract.

They did.

He just said, no, I have a better chance of going to Ulster.

That's where I want to go.

Whether it's having somebody like Mark Sexton as his backs coach in Ulster, reuniting, sorry, with Richie Murphy, who coached him at the 20s, and also then reuniting with Mark Sexton, that he says, yeah, no, actually, I like going there and I like my chances of playing a little bit more.
