I'm just getting abuse from Kiwis, basically.

That's all I'm doing.

I'm fielding lots of emails from outraged, irate Kiwis.

What does that make me?

I'm just going back, yeah.

I look out every morning and let the pigeons go.

I thought you were going to say, what's Instagram, John?

Why are you getting abusive messages?

I wrote about the Luke Jacobson incident for, amongst other things, for Peace in the Irish Times.

So the New Zealand Herald picked it up and clipped it down to a couple of comments that I made.

And obviously that's

reasonably widely read in New Zealand so the love bombing has started via email through our system in the Irish Times so they're all outraged

Yeah, no, it's a little bit of kind of bitter Irish and, you know, not able to take defeats and all this sort of stuff and kind of roping you in with the team.

And you're thinking, well, OK, fair enough.

That's your viewpoint on certain things.

And they accuse you of being blinkered

And you're thinking that's exactly what you are in terms of what you write.

But like nobody likes to be for this to be pointed out to them.

So very, very, very occasionally I'll kind of write back to somebody.

And if I'm just in the mood, basically, I'll do it.
