You don't have to, it doesn't have to be a Bonnie baby.
It just has to be something where in terms of performance, something where you get over the line and you can worry about the aesthetics afterwards.
Winning is all that Ireland require for the first two matches to give them a chance going into the USA game where they may be able to spell players, may be able to spell players and then give some of the frontliners a rest and then go into, have some momentum going into the playoff matches, if you like, in rounds four and five of the tournament.
I'm just going to make the comparison and it's not meant to be back to the Eddie O'Sullivan days where it's harder to get out of it than it is to get into it.

will continue to develop young players rather than getting a run out obviously the obvious position is loose head who's going to start there ahead of Andrew Porter and yeah there probably will be a few forced experiments rather than wanting them you look at this versus compared to say what Springboks are doing with their
first opening match what England are doing in that opening in that opening match versus what we're kind of backed into a corner but it all goes back to the same thing we've got to win games Ireland will want to win games on the road Just touching on that I think there's a big gap in some positions between the incumbents if you like the players that are there and the players that are chasing them
the Nations Cup yeah it would be lovely if Ireland won it but like really this is six test matches you kind of feel they could have experimented with there's no rankings that are going to materially affect them between here and the World Cup could be seven matches depending on how they get on and you just wonder and wonder and wonder like is there a couple of conic players is there a couple of bolster players just needed to be thrown in the deep end but and then you just you just wonder is that was that balance gone because of the injuries
But then it's had a bit of a cop-out because this could happen in a World Cup and it's always been our Achilles heel.
Is there a few players that need three or four caps under their belt going into the start of the season that could suddenly be a bolter to the World Cup?
But just even before we drift into Leinster, you look at, say, what France are doing.
And France are unashamedly going, we're wrestling players.
This is not a priority for us.
Getting BLBRE up on a beach is much more important for us.
So it's very rare you'd kind of go, oh, should we be taking a leaf out of the French book?
I don't even think they are.
I think they're just basically going, we're not taking, we're resting our players and this is what we will bring and we will make, we will make from it whatever it will be.
