This new billionaire class is served by an industry of estate planners, tax attorneys, and lobbyists, helping ensure that their families remain wealthy in perpetuity, just like the aristocrats of yesteryear.

And that brings us back to John Catsmatidis.

Because as well as all of those people in the photos on his wall, it may not surprise you to learn that this chronically online billionaire New Yorker

is friendly with another one.

They're still in close contact.
