No one's told us to be here.

We're not getting paid for this.

We're not charging you for this.

We're just going to turn up and no one's really going to know why we're here.

And we don't even have to stay.

We don't really know how to play these instruments.

Exactly, exactly.

Yeah, we're going to have a go.

And it's been one of the great privileges of my life to get sober and see people getting sober and to hear about people struggling and to hear about people succeeding and be a part of just something that's,

Good.

You know, it's good.

And I feel safe there.

It's like switching yourself off and on again.

Because I can go a certain amount of time and stuff creeps back in and my behaviors start to get a little bit grumpy today.

And it's just like, I think I need to, I need to turn myself off and on again.

um so you know but there's a million a million things it's given me um and i think like sometimes people's apprehensions about it are maybe not that it won't work but that it will yeah

You know, I was afraid of the idea I might not drink again.

I was absolutely fucking terrified of not drinking again.

Which brings us back to that thing you mentioned at the start.

I'll do anything to feel better, just don't ask me to change.
