you know, they made him pay.

I think, you know, overall, it's good to get the pitch count to where we got it to 70, but I think just some mistakes in the middle of the plate, which he's really done a good job of limiting.

Just command with a slider split.

You know, really good first at bat.

Then you hit Mayo and, you know, got to a couple strikes, I think, on the next couple guys.

And they made some good swings on some sliders down and then kind of just lost his own for the walks.

Kind of the theme for today.

Then you put Connor in a tough spot there.

And, you know, didn't see that unfolding the way it did after the first hitter for sure.

Yeah, it's a big swing for him, man, against a really tough reliever.

Yeah, that's Vlad right there.

Had a couple good swings, you know, the base hit to right, and then, you know, against Cano's, you know, sinker changeup, everything kind of down in the zone to kind of get underneath it and hit it the way he did was great.

I thought it was a great send from Carlos, too, with nobody out.

Ernie was doing his part, and I thought Carlos did a great job sending him.

Left-handed lineup, you know, trying to navigate it as much as he can, I think, and then turn it over to the rest of the pen.

You know, starting a game, it's a little bit weird, and I think having him be here for a couple weeks kind of played into it, too, and saving some other guys for later in the game.

Yeah, a little bit different at the big league level, but yeah, I think it's keeping the same routine he's been in as a reliever, but knowing that he's been out there for the first inning too definitely helps.

Is it a target kind of one trip through the lineup?
