I mean, a lot of the big companies that invested in sports talk in the United States have gone through bankruptcies and reconstruction of companies in order to make it work. matched

The frustration, I think, for all of us is that there are more sports than ever before. matched

And it's just now, how do we deliver the content to the viewer and to the lister? matched

You know, Matt, when you started working, whether it was the Ottawa Senators or the Toronto Maple Leafs or the Canucks, matched

Not every game was televised and there was not really an expectation that every hockey game would be televised. matched

That's just not the case anymore. matched

And so the viewing public is now used to being able to watch everything all the time. matched

And so it really demotes what radio stands for. matched

And therefore the technology that is AM radio becomes quite antiquated quite quickly. matched

I mean, one of the reasons sports talk radio is going away, Matt, is the success of shows like yours. matched

And that's the evolution of sports, the sports media world. matched

I mean, people, and I tried to explain this yesterday to a young guy from the Sun, that newspapers went through this 20 years ago. matched

And that's exactly what is happening with terrestrial radio, with the cost it takes to create terrestrial radio. matched

Transmission, studio costs, in addition to the cost it is of putting people on the air. matched

And that's, you know, the hard part isn't that sports talk radio is gone. matched

The hard, because it will reappear, it will manifest itself some other way, some thing will occur that allows it to happen. matched
