Or does it just kind of change your outlook on him as he approaches the next month?
For sure.
I would say I didn't necessarily have him as much of a shoo-in just because of the knee.
And especially what came up mid-tournament as it did flare up.
But I'm kind of with you.
I have him as such a great hardcourt player, of course.
And he loves playing on U.S.
soil.
I think a lot of the Americans do.
And as you mentioned, you look back to 2024, I mean, kind of a dream run.
And...
there's just that extra level where I give Taylor for it so much credit because I would say we're in the active prime of his career and he has kind of gotten the best tennis that he could kind of out of his body and these sort of conditions for him.
So yeah,
I give him a lot of credit for getting as much out of it as he can, but there is that just extra level where I think it comes down to a little bit of the movement aspect, but just the ability to consistently ball strike and do it over long periods of time because...
That's kind of the only thing that would be in his roadblock is those players who just can move a little bit better and hold that level for longer periods of time.
Of course, when you think about Sinkoraz, the extra pop on their ground strokes, and even Djokovic, I think there's been a few times in their last few matchups where I'm like, this is the time for a test to get Djokovic, and it just doesn't happen.
I don't know if there's also a mental block there, but regardless,
