So he was arrested and he was kept in custody up until his trial and whatnot.
He's due out around now, I think, if he's not out already.
I haven't heard anything, but, you know, at the time, one of the guards was saying, like, you know, this guy was a ticking time bomb, you know, and they got to him before he could go off.
And that's why it wasn't, you wouldn't have heard anything about it because it was more of a prevention thing.
Yeah, like, I mean, nobody does much writing anymore.
You know, we're all typing or texting and whatnot.
So we kind of knew back then that this guy was an older gent and maybe not tech savvy or access to computers and stuff like that.
But to have that level of commitment to be, like, the amount of writing, and I'm just talking about the stuff that I got.
like it was about a foot tick worth of stuff but there was any more amount of that in his house I wouldn't be surprised if there was numerous other letters out there that had been received at places but just not passed on to the guards or whatever you know but that level of commitment I mean he must have been at it every wake an hour you know and he was living with his elderly parents but I think it kind of escalated then when his mother died and he was doing it more and more and more and more but
Yeah, like, I mean, it's just, you know, a sick individual, I forget what the diagnosis was, but he was suffering sexual deviant behaviour or something like that.
But I know what you're saying, like, I mean, you have to think, you do your time when you come out, that's going to still be in you.
Yeah, like, I'm not making light of more serious crimes, say, like murder or something like that, but, you know, they can sometimes be, you know, spur of the moment,

I'm looking into a script for an old case at the moment now.
It's going back decades, like back to the 70s.
Murder was committed, person convicted, given life.
Life at the time in the 70s was about seven years.
Did a seven years, but never re-offended.
