And so it I think like it might trick some folks into thinking like, oh well that that sounds plausible in a naturalistic way, unlike heaven, which is this like untestable, unfalsifiable thing.

Like how how would I know about heaven, right?

But I I I see computers all the time, right?

So like, and it's it seems like you can move data around out of them.

So it seems logical, right?

So I think there's that, which is part of the reason why in this kind of disenchanted world where we still have to find sources of enchantment, I think as people, I think we are drawn to find magic and find

mystery somewhere.

And I think like in a disenchanted world with where we still have those impulses, that is gonna naturally move on to these kind of quasi naturalistic understandings of of mystical experiences, like uploading your brain to a computer.

Catholic.

Uh I was raised congregationalist, where we do not believe that it's literally the body and blood of Christ.

I I think if I remember my theology right, uh, which is one of the great schisms of uh that particular brand of Protestantism.

One of the useful things about communion is that it's

draws and points to the physical frailty of a body.

Jesus was nailed to a cross and died a gruesome death.

And at least in three of the four Gospels, I think John is the one where it's presented a little bit more cerebrally.

But in the other three it's it's really quite gruesome the way it's presented.

And that pain and that sorrow and that suffering that he endured on the cross was about his physical human body.

We see him as a reflection in those moments of our physical bodies.

And the act of eating his body and blood, well, you know, a little weird, uh, also I think points back to we have bodies.

Jesus had bodies, he was incarnated, he was a God, but he was also.
