You're still in the real world when you do that stuff.
I do think that that might change the calculation a little bit, right?
Like if I were to say, I'm gonna have Claude write me a website, uh, you know, or whatever it is, like to remember that that somewhere in some big old warehouse, you got a bunch of computers burning at, you know, some crazy heat to produce that website for me.
And like, yeah, it's still happening, it's just not with me.
Like I think that might change for people.
Like the more they the more they recognize and see is it's still there.
It's still happening.
It's it's still something moving in the real world is still happening.
I I think that might change people's perspectives.
I do.
I hesitate to poo-poo people's utopians' visions too much because I think I am an idealist at heart and a utopian at heart.
And so like I I don't want to like shit all over other people's dreams of
of a disembodied world, there might be really good reasons that they want that stuff.
I will say though
For me
part of becoming and maturing has been and continues to be remembering that I have limits, that I and that like finding my limits and respecting them as like I can push against them as much as I can.
But like the idea that like I can do everything and be everything that I kind of ever fantasize about being, I think is a really destructive impulse.
At least it has been for me.
When you are talking about kind of a
post-human world where we have uploaded our consciousnesses into you know silicon and steel or whatever, like that has this patina of naturalism of science attached to it.
