when death comes from out of nowhere and you had plans with that person and you don't know why and you ask questions.

And Father, help us to know it's not our job to know why.

It's our job to trust in you, trust that you have our best interest in mind and trust that one day through your son, Jesus, we will all be together where there will be no heartache, no pain, no tears, and there will be joy and laughter.

And hopefully somebody from Lafayette brings chicken skins and it's in his name we pray.
