The result against Dundalk felt massive.

It felt like a really, really big one for them, just given where they were coming from.

They were coming on the back of four defeats in a row.

And it felt sort of pivotal that they get something from the game.

And personally, I didn't expect them to win, I'd have to say.

So for them to go up there and do that, and a difficult place to go, was a big, big one for them.

And as you say, Monday against Bowes, they got a point whether they played well or not.

It doesn't particularly matter.

They've sort of at least stopped their outing.

They'll be hoping that they can kick on from here.

I suppose from a Sligo point of view, it wasn't a bad weekend by any means.

There looked to be a point where themselves and Waterford, similar to where Sligo were last year, that they might get caught adrift a little bit.

but a lot like the Shelburne result that I didn't see coming when they went to Bowes and beat Bowes 2-1 away from home I did not see that result coming whatsoever I mean you could look at it if you look at it from a stats perspective it probably looked somewhat like a smash and grab but it absolutely doesn't matter and they followed it on with two massive wins
