But I think the quality of the last two weekend's games leading into tomorrow was definitely picked up.

Is that vocational?

A mixture of both.

I suppose when I finished up, I wanted to kind of, I was living, I moved back home to Kildare that summer and was approached with a

clear idea of trying to get the club promoted to 1B where we are now and we did that in the first year and then we went into kind of semi-finals and finals of that 1B to get promoted but

I always say 1B is fantastic and it's a crazy league.

This year we had 42 points and every other year 35 would get you safe.

We had to win the last day with a bonus point to guarantee our safety and it was just like UCC are playing today to stay in the division but they finished on 40 points which is unheard of.

We were actually only two wins away from potentially being fourth going into trying to get a playoff spot.

But the jump from 1B to 1A is off the charts, you know, like it really is.

It's come back around now and the level of guys that are playing in it, a huge amount of guys from academies or sub-academies or guys that just didn't make the grade, like you're talking 0.5% of a...

a percentage off in terms of being at that top 1% of professionals in the country.

And yeah, it's really, I love coaching it.

I do school as well with Newbridge College.

So yeah, it's kind of the, probably the pathway

within Ireland from a coaching perspective.

And then I suppose for someone like me in the next six to 12 months, it's kind of you either travel or you hope something comes up that you can apply for within the provinces.

Is it hard to balance in family time?

During the season it would be, particularly in our league because there's a huge amount of travel.

We have four teams up the north.
