at a poll for 12 hours, you pay them $15 an hour, which is more than minimum wage, and you feed them.
That's $200 a poll worker.
At a minimum, I would have tried to have, if I didn't have any money, I would try to have two people at the six high and black voting polls to at least try to touch people when they were coming in because we know
they're voting, which comes to $200 times 12, that's not even $2,500, right?
But literally people went there and there were people saying, vote for me, vote for me, don't follow this slate, don't do this.
And so has she just done that?
I think she had a chance to win, but she didn't do it in Houston.
So I don't know what she did everywhere else, but she didn't run a campaign in Houston on the ground.
And you don't win serious campaigns when you don't have a ground game.
It's just that simple.
Look, she was, her and Christian Menifee were 10 toes down with each other.
Christian's people weren't even, Christian had people at every poll, right?
Because he's in a runoff with Congressman Al Green.
Christian's people could have handed out her stuff.
Because she definitely helped him.
So I don't know why his people didn't hand out her stuff.
But she literally had no presence.
And I'm telling you, I saw people who were out there flipping people's minds as they were walking in to vote.
Like, even if you call somebody, you don't know if they're going to go vote.
But if they're walking to the poll to vote, they're voting.
