Brother, I can spend an hour just unpacking that segment.
Let me do the best I can in three minutes.
Number one, the reporter asked everybody I've talked to.
This is the exact question that was asked.
Everybody I've talked to said they don't want to eat a violent criminal as their neighbor.
I hate this phrasing of that question because, again, we have a process in place how to deal with people that violate crime.
And it's a due process.
And what ICE is doing is not due process.
I refuse to be one of these Americans that capitulate to the idea that if you're simply accused of a violent crime, that masked men can show up at your front door without a judicial warrant, kick your door down and drag you off simply because somebody's telling you you're a violent criminal.
I mean, these motherfuckers label me a domestic terrorist.
So by that standard, if I'm a domestic terrorist, you can drag me off my front strip.
Americans need to pay attention.
If we start capitulating to the idea that you can drag people out without due process simply because I tell you that they're domestic terrorists or violent criminals, then we have lost our way.
Our moral and ethical binding is gone.
Number two.
