I don't think there's a lot of fans who... For example, Jurgen Klopp, who I think is probably more personable than Guardiola in many ways.
A lot of people I know, just anecdotally, just really don't like him.
They don't like the way he comes across.
Maybe because he was a bit of a sore loser at times.
Whereas with Guardiola, I think that obsessive quality that he has, where you just watch him interact with people.
The famous example of him talking to Nathan Redmond on the football...
fields, things like that.
I think people recognize this guy's just face value.
He's not playing a game really.
He's just, he's there and he wants his team to play the game better.
He wants people to play the game better, even if they're not on his team.
And so he'll spend time talking to Nathan Redman saying, here's how you can improve.
And I think that kind of obsession is infectious for people.
People respect that because
I think it's a form of honesty, right?
You're just putting yourself out there.
And a lot of other football managers, I think, have very clever ways of deflecting that.
And I just think with him, you get everything.
