Yeah, I don't miss hangovers, so that's great.

But I thought if I'm going to write a book, I'm going to be as honest.
Like, you know, I want to be as honest about it as possible.
And I wanted to be honest about my struggles with mental health as well.
It was hard to, because I didn't even understand it myself.
And it was like, so how do you talk about feeling sad?
When it looks from the outside that everything's good.
But then weirdly creates great art.
It really does.
And you know what?
But at the same time, that could actually be a bit of a problem as well, because I was under the impression for the first 20 years of our career that I had to be miserable to write good songs.
And then I met Dana, who totally changed my world later on.
And I got into way more positive, way more healthy headspace and ended up writing Five Eyes, Old Gods, Adults, Hadja, the solo album.
And these are some of my favorite records.
And they were done straight.
And still heavy.
