So I think in that sense, you almost need to see more of a sample from him because you need to be convinced that his command is still plus or plus plus.
But having said that, this is a seller's market where I don't think there's going to be too many quality arms with postseason pedigree, with a Cy Young in his mantle available.
And even though Shane Bieber probably isn't going to be the ace of the staff of any contender that would be acquiring him, he absolutely would raise the floor.
There's no question about that.
And I do think that he could end up making a postseason start or a couple of postseason starts more towards the middle or back of a postseason rotation for a contender.
So, yeah, I still do think that teams would be interested in him.
Yeah, I just think that when you're trading for a command right-hander, which that profile doesn't really exist in today's game anymore, you want to be darn sure that his command is actually elite.
He has demonstrated over the last couple of starts that he is capable of elite command.
Certainly having one more impressive outing like that in the books before the deadline would, I believe, inspire even more consumer confidence.
But I would think that any team looking for starting pitching, particularly mid-rotation, back-to-the-rotation improvements, would at this point be interested in Shane Bieber.

So, I mean, let's let's focus on this weekend and what they have to show me is three wins.
I mean, realistically, a sweep is the only outcome capable of kind of halting the cell talk by Monday morning.
You sweep, and you're probably three games back of the third wildcard spot.
I say probably because Seattle and Texas open a four-game set tonight, and one of those teams could end up taking that third wildcard spot if the Red Sox get swept, and that would affect the math a little bit.
But still, you sweep.
