So I think we try and put this into a sort of wider context rather than just reacting to a set of events.
The next question is, you know, where do we think the implications will... what they'll lead to in terms of sort of capital markets?
And a couple of things are sort of self-evident.
The longer this goes on, the greater the sort of economic dislocation, supply dislocation for...
energy products.
And it's important that this isn't just about oil.
It's around fertilizer, helium.
A lot of investors have suddenly become helium experts because Qatar produces 30% of the world's helium, which is actually a critical component in semiconductor manufacturing.
I think it'd be fair to say that a lot of us weren't fully aware of that five or six weeks ago.
So I think that's just illustrative of those sort of second and third order impacts that you see from this sort of current conflict.
But it's obviously likely to have implications for inflation.
The length of that is a little bit difficult to sort of fathom right now.
And it won't just be about energy price inflation.
I think one of the things that we are looking at is the sort of implications into food inflation as well because of fertilizer shortages, whether or not that's here in Australia or in other markets as well.
I think it does.
And I think there are a couple of things that we've sort of focused on.
The first one is that traditional defensive assets may not provide the level of protection that investors have relied on historically.
And that's particularly true, I think, of government bonds.
And we've seen sort of periods of that where, and certainly that was very true in the inflation pickup post-COVID,
