But I think with the coaching team, obviously, Jimmy Duffy leaving as well.

And that was another thing that maybe didn't get a huge amount of

talk throughout the season was how their set piece struggled in the big games.

The scrum in particular was down in the lower regions of the league in terms of penalties, one penalties against, things like that.

And the line-out that had been such a weapon for them wasn't the same.

So it'll be really interesting to see how Clark Dermotty does as well coming in.

think it absolutely makes a ton of sense if you discount the notion that Ulster haven't won a trophy in 20 years I think

logically from a rugby perspective and from a business perspective, I think it makes a ton of sense.

But I think if you look back to the situation that they were in last April, whenever it sort of became clear that, you know,

Rog wasn't particularly interested in it and wasn't going to send a strong team.

And things just kind of opened up in front of them.

And they were like, we could easily get to a final here.

I think it's very difficult for a team that has had this idea of not winning a trophy as this millstone right there next for two decades now to pass up the opportunity of winning a trophy.

And I know people will say it's a second tier trophy.

I know people will say that they wouldn't win it if they had done the job and got into the Champions Cup the year before.

But I just think it would be such a big thing for the organization.

not even to win a trophy, but to not have to answer, to not having won a trophy for so long, that I think it's very hard to put into practice if you get to the knockout stages of the Challenge Cup and you're looking around and thinking, we could take a real crack at this.
