And we know the passion that he has for Leinster Rugby.
We know the amount of years of his life that he has given to Leinster Rugby.
I don't think anybody's guiding that.
But we spoke three or four weeks ago after Toulon when there was this sort...
type of presser where it was more combative more uh volleys back and forth i'm sort of spoken you know is this something that's designed to create a sort of siege mentality is this something that's planned is this uh
something that they have really, really thought about and are doing meticulously.
And I think just the fact that they've gone back to it again really shows that it's not.
I think these are emotional responses, the kind of which we don't get in Irish rugby press conferences in the main.
These press conferences are mandated by the competition, otherwise they wouldn't happen, by and large, I've always suspected.
And I think that...
normally the goal of them is to say nothing, to get through the time without saying anything inflammatory, without saying anything that's going to ignite these types of debates.
So I think the fact that it's happened again, and we'll get to Nina Barr later, but the fact that it's happened again so soon after Toulon to me speaks to emotional reactions and to me speaks to, ironically enough, given that it was an answer about not being under pressure, just speaks to the pressure that they're under.
To me, it's that.
It's this idea that Lancers seem to have or publicly seem to be saying that they have
that there is this media narrative that is not based on their performance relative to the expectation.
It seems to be that they genuinely believe, because we've had it from Leo after too long, and now we've had it from Jack Nienbauer, where there seems to be this idea that,
Nina Barr says it there.
You don't think it, but you say it.
That's him saying that Rory is writing something that he doesn't believe.
And that feeds into what Leo said about there being an agenda that people are going to be negative about Leinster.
