Joe Schmidt has had more farewell tours than Frank Sinatra, and not through any fault of his own.

Then, to cut a long story short, his close friend, Les Kiss, from their days working together in Ireland, wanted to take on the job.
But basically, Queensland Reds were looking for a payout, which Rugby Australia essentially couldn't afford.
So the easiest way to really have a smoother handover is for Joe to extend his time, essentially, with the Walbys.
