I was going to say that that's definitely something she draws on.
And we get a really clear sense of York and its environs.
Yeah, very evocative.
And I wonder too whether writers are grappling with a sense that we're sort of betraying history, you know, that these people have been and they have made these things and we are in the process of destroying it all.
And on that happy note.
It is Moseley's gift, though, that I think she deals with these things at that lovely arm's length that literature gives, that it's a sort of a poetic imagining of those issues.
It's not shoving it down your throat, but it makes you think about that as a consequence of reading what she thinks.
I think we enjoyed reading it.

I like the idea of an Audible Short Story Award.
