So, yeah, the nice idea is this money is redistributed around the world.

You're building, I don't know, Benin needs a stadium.

Brilliant, there's a stadium in Benin.

You need to go and train up referees in Ecuador or whatever.

But actually, we all know that FIFA has become this vehicle to get Gianni Infantino re-elected.

So a lot of these handouts from FIFA, the Gold Project, for instance...

I think if you actually audited that properly, you'd see the money doesn't necessarily go where it's meant to go.

But if you're giving money to Country X to build their stadium, well, the delegate from Country X is going to keep voting for Infantino.

They have all these FIFA committees, which they've proliferated.

They've got bigger and bigger.

If you're an FA delegate that's sitting on one of those committees, you get a stipend and you get your expenses, which are very, very generous.

Again...

you're not going to rock the boat, you're not going to challenge Infantino.

So all of this, while there may well be some good stuff going on, and there are very good people at FIFA, it also helps Infantino get... The thing is, sorry, I was just going to say, is that the fans who get punished at the end of the day, it's like... Yeah, completely.

I mean, the only way you could get rid of them would be a much stronger UEFA under a different president than Sheffrin.
