And I think what what is really clear from the documents that Donald Trump released is that yes, there was some talk by Chinese officials about influence operations.
Apparently they never acted on any of them.
There was certainly no effort to try and change the vote.
And, you know, d Donald Trump's own documents, these documents he released, showed that the intelligence community assessed that China had not deployed influence efforts.
In a large capacity, because they wanted stable relations with the US.
So they didn't try and influence that election in the way that he claimed.
And in fact,
There was an intelligence assessment carried out in twenty twenty one.
By John Ratcliffe, who was then the Director of National Intelligence.
And they found that no foreign actor attempted or succeeded in altering any aspect of the 2020 election.
John Ratcliffe, who carried that out, he was director of national intelligence now.
He's been promoted since then.
He's Donald Trump's CIA chief.
So this is Donald Trump's own CIA chief five years ago saying there was no foreign interference in the election.
