I think they'd be really excited about fixing some of the things.

That's a good place to be, I think, as opposed to playing your best, losing anyway with that much of a gap and scratching your head.

I think we're far away from that position.

So what I would say is going into 2020, well, 26, 27, and 27 in particular,

Someone's going to have to rip up the script a small bit.

people have got more caps and been developed because of those injuries but I'd love to see someone just change the way Ireland are previewed how they play like McCluskey did in 2026 I know at an older age but I'd like to see someone dictate the play if it's a Bryn Ward or like another Paddy McCarthy or do you know what I'm saying someone in some position has to has to change it can it be Nathan Doak you know can someone just make Ireland slightly different and make us excited about 27 and 26-27

I don't think there's an obvious answer.

Terrible answer now, but I don't think there's an obvious answer because that's not how Irish rugby goes.

I think Bryn Ward is someone that could.

bring a dynamism to the team.

So I think somewhere in the back row, I think Josh Vander Vlier gives a good standard of performance.

I think Nick Timoney has been unlucky and brings a serious standard of performance.

But maybe Sean Jansen, maybe Bryn Ward, maybe a Cormac Isachukwu in that sixth row.
