So I think whatever you want to do in life, you know, there's going to be a set of specialized skills and probably one skill that's most important of all in what you want to do.
And if you want to do the hard work in that, even though it doesn't feel good while you're doing it, it opens up everything else.
They procrastinate.
Sure.
So for me, I think there's an overarching strategy with this whole thing, right?
About the inner game, the mindset of success, right?
Now, it has to do with your belief systems and things that happen when you're very, usually when you're younger, right?
So for me, the linchpin moment in my life of success was at the age of 16, I had this big hit financially.
I went down, where are you from?
You're from the East Coast or West Coast?
Okay, so there's a beach in New York called Jones Beach, right?
On a hot summer Sunday, there's a million people on Jones Beach.
And it's a very wide beach, long walk to the concession stand.
I'm a 16-year-old kid.
Minimum wage back then is $1.35 an hour.
It's 1978, right?
And I notice everyone's bitching and moaning walking up to the concession stand.
It's like 90 degrees, right?
So what?
I'm saying, hmm.
