And I think podcasting's 20th anniversary was like, I don't know, a few months ago.

And as a result of him doing that interview, which of course he didn't ask permission, of course it wasn't allowed, of course it wasn't a proper media channel, which I didn't know until ABC was literally filming me on the phone with him on a set.
as a result of doing that interview, of course, the warden at the prison found out and put him in solitary confinement for like nine months, which he complained about.
But the thing is, this was like his umpteenth time breaking the rules in prison, because this is a guy, and this goes for a lot of these con artists and manipulators, the rules don't apply to me.
So like one thing he had done, I think I should say allegedly, even though it's probably well documented, but whatever.
One thing he allegedly did was he was like, I'm going to write a memoir.
And it's like,
okay sure guy who conned a bunch of people and is 26 years old or something whatever you're gonna write a memoir so rather than trying to write a memoir he smuggled in a usb recording device pen into the prison somehow and was recording on that well he gets caught that's a massive violation because you're not allowed to have communication devices even if they don't transfer it's a whole thing okay and privacy issues so he gets caught for that the warden's like hey man
this is not where you are from, this is prison, you have to obey the rules.
And then he started doing some other thing like putting money on other people, paying other prisoners somehow, which is also not allowed.
And the warden was like, oh, here's what I'm gonna do.
I'm gonna send you from whatever cushy area you are now into like a gang prison.
You don't get to enjoy the privilege of feeling safe all the time if you're going to make risk the safety of others and just not obey the rules.
So he goes to this like gang prison, starts teaching a course on music production.
Why?
