And they're like, no, no, no, she's actually a different gender now.

And I was like, wait a minute.

So, as I got to know her... Yeah, 2002.

Yeah.

And she's in a... This wasn't like, oh, it's trending, or, like, you're 17 and 20, whatever, you're experimenting with something.

Like, no, no, no, you already had a career as a naval officer and a whatever...

and had gotten married and had kids and now they're adults and were in law school together.

So very different place in life.

So this is a person who could speak with some pretty good credibility on what it was like to be transgender.

And I was like, wow, she's really smart and cool and normal, except for this one thing that is crazy to me.

But she's not mentally ill or gonna shoot a place up or has all this crazy stuff that made her into what she is and she's a dysfunctional member of society.

No, she was a brilliant lawyer.

So I had an early introduction to this.

So then when all the trans hysteria stuff happened, I was like, I don't know, man, I don't know if I can get on board with this.

Knowing someone well who is trans for 20 years, it sort of inoculates you from being like, they're all crazy people that are TikTok-brained to death.

It's like, well, I know at least one really clear exception.

Somebody rewrote it recently.

Can you stop?

So somebody rewrote my Wikipedia, which was normal.

And I think that person hates me and wants me to get thrown into the shot into the sun.
