So for example, um when I was running, which I now dis dislike, strong dislike, but I cycle instead.
What I would do, especially when I lived in Michigan instead of California and it was freaking freezing outside most of the year.
I would say, all right, I will get out of bed and I will put on all my workout gear, all my running gear.
And if I want to go back to bed after that, then I can.
And then after that, I would usually go running.
And then when it got really hard because it was cold as hell outside, and I knew it, if or if that stops working, because I know that m you know that trick of putting on your clothes, getting out of bed, and making it happen, that trick might stop working.
I would go, All right, I'm gonna put on
All my stuff and then step out onto the front porch step and feel that cold air and take three deep breaths.
And then if I want to go back to bed, I s I can.
So I kept escalating it until I got until I reprogrammed my brain to realize, ooh, runner's high is so fun versus, oh, getting out of bed sucks.
Right.
So it was avoiding the pain of not getting that runner's high became greater than the pain of getting out of bed.
And
That was a critical.
Basically became an opiate addict, self-generated opiate addict.
And I use little s little things like this all the time where
For example, I I wanted to start getting up earlier and not like four AM crazy stuff, but getting up, you know, at six or seven, just like a normal productive person.
I don't are you one of those get up at three A.
