And in those countries you have to register with the police wherever you go.

Because they're socialist and they want to keep tabs on everybody and they don't have, you know, pesky freedom getting in the way of authoritarian rule.

So I I decided, you know, I'm I can do that, but it became more of a more of a pain because you have to go to the police station, you gotta wait at the police station, you gotta register at the police station, and the police were total jerks about it every time.

They treat you like a criminal.

And one time I was there really late at night 'cause you gotta register like the day you get in and I'd gotten in at eleven.

So I was sitting there at like one thirty AM and instead of doing the paperwork, they just kind of decided

Oh, you must be a criminal 'cause you're here so late, so you're going to jail.

So they threw me in jail with a bunch of like

Roma women who like AKA gypsies, which I think is not a nice term for that that so I'm I'm not sure, but y most people know they're okay with calling themselves gypsies.

So so do I.

I just don't want anybody to be like, How dare you?

But but technically Roma.

Exactly.

So so I'm I'm in prison or in jail, I should say, with them and they're chain smoking and like yelling and talking the whole night.

And I thought, this is the last time I'm gonna voluntarily register.

So I stopped doing that.

So they started looking for me, thinking like this guy's some kind of spy.

And they I ended up on state security radar

Because I was not registered with the police, but my job as an English teacher, the people paying my salary was the US Department of Defense.

So they were like, Oh, he's definitely a spy.
